Hi some of you might have met Carlo D'Alessandro, whilst taking photos of allotments. The other day we got an email about.... we l will let Carlo explain in his own words
I hope you are well, I just wanted to let you know about a photography exhibition in the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. The show marks just over a year since I started touring allotments in Scotland in search of portraits and stories. This show concentrates on the Central Belt sites, and runs from the 2nd of February until the 15th of April 2012.
I would like to thank everyone who has given their time and energy, I realise that getting your picture taken is not the most enjoyable experience!, but I do hope you'll see that it's been worthwhile and truthful. I am continuing the project into this year so I hope to see you again soon.

Please circulate this to all your contacts, a few of those featured in the show are not on email so I will write them as well, but if you see them at the site please let them know. If I have taken your picture and it's not featured, please don't be offended, there was a curator forthis particular show and the selection was ultimately down to them.
