MODEL ALLOTMENT AT GLASGOW SHOW 2006

Betty, Treasurer for GAF and GAF member Joyce put the finishing touches to the Model Allotment at the Glasgow Show of 2006.

This wonderful display was created by a working party group from Glasgow Allotments Forum.

Betty Stewart and her amazing husband John were responsible for making this such a huge success,working for months prior to the show and throughout the actual event ensuring that all went without a hitch.

GAF member Ellen and Betty start to relax as they go over the final details.

Ellen must take the credit for the vibrant colours at the front border.  These fabulous plants were nurtured by herself and donated to the cause.

The judges arrived to judge our exhibit!!!

Apparently by creating this display and putting it on show to the public, we had entered into a competition.

We were more than happy to show off all the flowers and vegetable plants that allotment holders from all over the city had donated.
