25 Nov 2008 - DIG OVER PLOT

 This is an ideal month to dig over your plot providing the weather is suitable.

Turn over soil removing any deep rooted weeds.

Well rotted manure and the contents of your compost heap can be dug in at this time.  

The surface can be left fairly rough as the frost will help break down any large clods.
